The member of the Ukrainian national archery team, Ivan Oleksandrovych, was killed in a conflict with the Russian forces.

According to the statement of the Ukrainian Archery Federation Oleksandrovych died during the fights in the Beryslav district of the Kherson Region. 

- On 20 April, during fierce fighting in Beryslav district of the Kherson Region, Ivan Oleksandrovych, a master of Ukrainian sports, an international archery champion, a multiple champion, the winner of European championships and the winner of numerous medals, died. He lived in Marhanets'. Rest in eternal glory. We will remember. We will not forgive - the announcement states.
