Protesters set the Serbian flag on fire, which was displayed as a sign of welcome on the street leading to the Government building, followed by the stormy approval of those gathered, and one boy fell from a flagpole trying to knock down the flag.

Protesters carried banners with messages against the "Open Balkans" initiative, President Vučić, Rama, Soros... 

Protesters, led by Berisha, had previously gathered in front of the Democratic Party headquarters in Tirana and then walked to the Government building, where a stage has been set up, not far from the Serbian Embassy in Tirana.

The protest was organised on the eve of the arrival of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučića to the meeting of the "Open Balkans Regional Cooperation Initiative", held between 20 and 21 December in Tirana.
