After a long period, the former president of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić, appeared in public and attended the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims in the Second World War.

Together with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, Toma Nikolić attended the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims in the Second World War and the 80th anniversary of the mass shooting of civilians in Kragujevac.

He visited the Sumarice Memorial Park with the current state leadership and laid a wreath at the "V3" monument, erected at the place where on 21 October 1941, the German occupation forces shot students and professors of a school in Kragujevac.
