WILANDER BACK TO HIS OLD WAYS: Praying to God that Djoković does not win anytning ever again!
Novak Djoković's main critic Mats Wilander wishes for the Big 3 to stay tied at 20 Grand Slams.
Wilander analysed the US Open finals in his text for "L'Equipe", primarily focusing on the new generation of players, the successors of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djoković.
Djoković was stopped at the very last step on his way to winnig the Calendar Grand Slam and his record-breaking 21st major title. The current world number one will certainly continue striving for more trophies, but it seems that Wilander is not so keen on the idea:
- This tournament brought many good things. The young generation has finally proven itself ready to take over the torch from the older one. With this said, it would be great if the Big 3 stay tied at 20 Grand Slams. It would be great and it's very possible. It would be the ideal end of an eternal race - Wilander pointed out and added:
- However, I am certain that Novak will not stop here. I can already imagine him recharging his batteries in the next few weeks and then practicing like a beast for 4 months in order to be ready to shine at Autralian Open. It will be a new beginning for him.

Old useless goat Wilander should better pray to become sane again.
